Blue-White
flow

install. With pipe resistance
and other restricting items being a factor in plumbing, a
Blue-White flow meter in-line will provide you with the accurate GPM
or LPH.
Install a flow meter in line
with your Ultraviolet Sterilization plumbing too be sure you are at
the correct flow. Should your flow be to fast, then you may not be
killing the protozoa you thought. Example: If your 40 watt UV requires
water to flow between 5.2 to 8.7 gallons per minute for killing
protozoa, without a flow meter, this may be pretty hard to
determine.

in its efficiency, simplicity, and dependability when applied as a microorganism
disinfectant for your pond. With proper exposure time and flow, ultraviolet
radiation energy (ultraviolet light) penetrates a waterborne
microorganism's cell wall. It then destroys the nuclear material causing
abrupt modification bringing about their destruction quickly and effectively.
Each type of microorganism requires a specific amount of UV exposure to
successfully complete the disinfecting process. This makes it very
important to have the correct water flow which can be determined easiest
