Review the diagram below for locating the flow meter on different diameters of pipe, noted at top. Diameter of pipe times 4 from one side and diameter of pipe times 10 from the flow source direction. Once location has been determined, drill a 5/8" to 11/16" diameter hole at the top center of the pipe. Carefully remove all burns. Insert the pilot tube, with gasket in place, into the drilled pipe. Tighten the clamps alternately, a little at a time. Make certain the flow direction is towards the pilot tube opening .
