Jump
Start Concentrated Nitrifying Bacteria - Gallon or Quart
Jump Start is a professional
formula of 50% Nitrosomonas and 50% Nitrobacter nitrifying
bacteria. Jump Start is excellent for rapid "cycling" in
a new bio-filter or re-start of existing bio-filters in Spring or
after use of harsh medications. Jump Start does NOT need to be
refrigerated during shipping within the U.S. but MUST be kept
refrigerated during storage.
Jump Start is manufactured by
the makers of KoiZyme and was beta tested for 15 months prior to
its 2008 introduction. It was tested by filter manufactures, pond maintenance
companies, and many of our dealers here in the U.S.

To use Jump Start
New system;
(Step 1) Test the pond for ammonia. When the ammonia level reaches
between 0.5 to 1.0, add 50% of the Jump Start into the skimmer.
This will permit the Jump Start to go directly to the filtering
system.
(Step 2) Wait one week while testing the ammonia everyday. Add
50% of the remaining Jump Start into the skimmer when either the
ammonia reaches .05 to 1.0 again during the week or at the end
of the one week even if the ammonia doesn't rise..
(Step 3) Repeat testing daily like in step 2 and add the balance of the Jump Start when ammonia reaches
between .05 to 1.0 or add it at the end of the week regardless. Jump
Start is great to have on hand when adding new fish to a pond or
quarantine system when ammonia levels may rise. Testing ammonia
is important and should you feed the fish more then regularly,
ammonia levels are likely to rise. Adding Jump Start can help
lower those levels quickly.

GENERAL INFORMATION
1) "Bead Filtration"- The ability to use a tightly packed
filter material to filter your water. And at the twist of
your wrist, it completely unpacks the material and washes any
captured waste out and disposes of it.
2) "Pressurized System"- coupled with a small ‘foot print’
means you can hide your filter almost anywhere.
3) Massive biological capacity. (See test results
for details.)
4) Best "Backwash System" of any bead filter today. You
can clean the filter in less than 4 minutes without getting your
hands wet. Our 2 hp. heavy duty blower assures that clogging of
the beads ( unlike other filters ) will not be a problem. The
design of our internal head makes the backwash cycle so efficient
that it eliminates the need for a "sludge drain" at the bottom of
the filter. There is never any "sludge" to remove. One
is installed should you want to drain the filter.
5) It is among the lowest head pressure of any bead filter
tested (see
test results for details). Coupled with our 2 hp. blower
system means that there is no need for a 2-speed motor on
your pump. This allows you to use a more efficient single speed
motor.
6) Easy access to the beads ( 30 sec.). No plumbing to remove.
Just unscrew the top cap.
7) Our "Medication Cycle" allows you to not only bypass your
beads while you medicate your pond, but also to thoroughly
oxygenate your beads during this critical period.
8) A large 2-inch sight glass is installed so you can easily
