Call us for getting help on pond design and purchasing - the Advantage bead filter, Artesian Pro pump, Emperor Aquatic U.V. light and flow meter. Yes, a flow meter. Installing a flow meter inline of the U.V. light enables you to determine and adjust the correct flow of water to the U.V. Light. If the flow is too fast, it does no good for killing green water filled with algae or the bad bacteria. We can provide pictures on how best to connect up your plumbing to take the stress out of figuring it. TIP: In designing a pond, be sure you install a bottom drain and skimmer. Also consider installing a 3-way valve in front of the pump to control the amount of water coming from the skimmer and the bottom drain.
