One day to dig renting a $200 tractor w/ backhoe

Then plumbing took days. 

 
Dig and install bottom drains, lightly wet soil and compact.

Use only Firestone EPDM rubber liner!

We receive calls from customers that are redoing the pond liner because they didn't use Firestone EPDM liner.

Don't go getting a hose just yet!!!! We still need to "cut" the liner and install the bottom drains ....

Bottom drains require 24 hrs for silicone to dry before adding water. Use GE II 100% clear silicone.

Bottom drains installed, any bulkheads are installed as water is filling. Fold flaps were needed.
We were able to get a reading off our city water meter prior to filling. City water meters read in units of cubic feet. 

One cubic foot of water = 7.48 gallons. Ok to finish installing skimmer face plate to liner.
