Introducing the new direct drive water pumps specifically
designed for high flow and maximum pumping height. As with all the
PONDMASTER submersible water pumps, these pumps are sealed, rather
than oil filled, to be fish safe. With capacities from 1000 to 5300
gallons per hour and maximum pumping height of over 45 feet, these
pumps are ideal for waterfalls in medium to large ponds. The pumps
intake handles 3/8 inch debris through the built-in 3/8 inch bottom
pick-up
This pump also makes an
ideal sump pump for vortex settling tanks which have no bottom
drain!

$/kilowatt-hr = $ operating costs per year
Using the 1/4 hp for our example
which draws 2.5 amps.
Amps (2.5) x 115 = 287.5 So, 287.5 x
8,760 divided by 1,000 = 2518.5 So (2518.5) x .075 ( .075 = My cost of
kilowatt, found on electric bill) = $188.8875 per year to operate.
Or roughly $190 a year to run the pump 24 hrs a
day all year. Which is 52 cents a day and $16 a month.
